Playful vocal warm-up games

A few easy notes.
A little play.

Let a hum bloom a flower. Let the next one draw a line across the sky.

If you want to make a vocal warm-up more playful, try these two gentle ways to explore Vocal Glide. It's a voice game: follow the little responses on screen, stay with comfortable notes and enjoy the moment.

Try a little voice play
Matching a note brings a flower into bloom in Note Garden.A glowing trail paints the sky as the player's pitch changes in Free Glide.
One voice. A garden and a whole sky.

Before your first note

Start somewhere comfortable.

Open Vocal Glide on your iPhone, allow microphone access and complete Voice Setup with an easy hum. Choose a reasonably quiet place so the game can hear you.

You can hum or use a comfortable vowel. There are no lyrics to remember. Keep to sounds that feel easy; take a break if your voice feels tired or uncomfortable.

Two small ways to explore

First a flower.
Then follow the sky.

Bloom a note in Note Garden

Choose Note Garden when you want a small note-matching task with a visible response.

  1. Notice the target. Look at the flower's note and the on-screen pitch feedback.
  2. Try an easy hum. Make a small change higher or lower and watch how the feedback moves.
  3. Let it settle. When you find the note, hold it gently and see the flower bloom.
  4. Leave a little space. Pause, then choose another comfortable note if you feel like it.

No score or failure. You're exploring how a sound and a flower connect, at your own pace.

Draw a little journey in Free Glide

Choose Free Glide when you would rather follow your own sound than aim for a flower's note.

  1. Begin with one sound. Hum a note that feels easy and watch the trail appear.
  2. Let it wander. Move a little higher or lower to change the path through the sky.
  3. Stay a moment. Hold a comfortable note and see what you discover.
  4. Finish when you like. Enjoy your little drawing, or take another turn.

There is no required session length here. A few curious sounds can be the whole adventure.

Hear the hum, see the response

Small sounds.
Something happens.

The original gameplay demo shows how notes change the action. Note Garden appears around 12 seconds and Free Glide around 19 seconds.

Watch with sound · 22 seconds

Vocal Glide is a game, not a structured singing course. This is one way to make voice exploration or a warm-up playful; it does not replace personalised singing instruction.

The 22-second demo includes all five voice games. Humming accompanies gameplay; on-screen captions explain the actions.

Keep it easy.

Do I have to sing?

No. Humming works, and there is no song to perform. Singing is another way to play if you enjoy it.

What if a note feels awkward?

Let that note go. Revisit Voice Setup if the controls feel outside your comfortable range, or try Free Glide for a less directed turn. You can always stop and return another time.

What if the game doesn't respond?

Check microphone permission and reduce nearby music or conversation. More volume isn't the goal. The support guide can help with setup.

What if I just want a game?

You're in the right place. Fly, catch cabbages or cast a spell: find your favourite kind of voice game. Warming up is an optional way to use the app.

A voice game for your pocket
